Kuwait Amir expresses condolences over victims of UAE fuel truck blast

KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah extended his condolences on Monday to the victims of a fuel truck explosion in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, an attack claimed by Yemen's Houthi group.
In a cable he sent to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nayhan, His Highness the Amir underlined his country's unwavering support for all measures Abu Dhabi takes to protect its security and stability, slamming the attack believed to be caused by a Houthi drone, as a "terrorist act" that contravenes humanitarian principles. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to the UAE president.
