KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent cables of condolences to Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Monday, over the death of former prime minister Toshiki Kaifu, remembering his prominent role in supporting Kuwait during the Iraqi Invasion.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah also sent similar cables to Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Kishida. (end)
