Turkey, Armenia hold 1st meeting on normalization of relations

ANKARA, Jan 14 (KUNA) -- Turkey said Friday that the first meeting of special representatives from Turkey and Armenia towards normalization was held in Moscow earlier today.
In a press statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said the meeting was held in a positive and constructive atmosphere and both sides exchanged views on the normalization of relations through bilateral dialogue.
It aded that both parties agreed to continue negotiations without preconditions aiming at full normalization and that the date and venue of the second meeting are to be determined in due time through diplomatic channels. (end) rs.mt
