Kuwaiti antique craftsmen partake in Dubai Expo

DUBAI, Dec 29 (KUNA) -- A number of Kuwaiti handicraftsmen are displaying their innovated items at the Kuwaiti pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai exhibition.
Mohammad Kamal, the coordinator of the Kuwaiti team, said in remarks to KUNA that the participation portrays some images of the Kuwaiti heritage and genuine art works. It is also designed to encourage the youth to practices their hobbies and incite the talented.
Among the renowned Kuwaiti participants are Mohammad Dashti, maker of relics' replicas, Dr. Hamed Kamal, maker of antique jewelry, and Fahad Al-Saad, a craftsman of utensils used in the old times.
The team is displaying the works and items at a special corner for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs. (end) bsu.rk
