UAE, France sign cooperation accords, MoUs

DUBAI, Dec 3 (KUNA) -- The UAE and France signed on Friday accords and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in many areas to boost the strategic partnership.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the agreements and MoUs signed by both parties at Expo 2020 Dubai, included: an MoU between UAE's Mubadala and the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery.
The two sides also signed MoUs to boost cooperation in the Industrial, military, and energy sectors.
As for the agreements, the UAE and France signed an agreement on the purchase of a military aircrafts and associated products and services.
Agreements also included the supply of arms and equipment in addition to economic and financial accords.
An amendment to the agreement between the Governments of the UAE and France on Louvre Abu Dhabi was signed as well as a Letter of Intent (LoI) on moon exploration between Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC).
A MoU between Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Electricitie De France (EDF) was signed.
The signing of the agreement came on the sideline of French President Emmanuel Macron visit to the UAE. (end) bsu.gta
