MADRID, Nov 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Spain Eiyada Al-Saeedi hosted a dinner banquet on Saturday in honor of the visit by National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim and his accompanying delegation to Spain.
Al-Ghanim's dinner was on the sidelines of his participation in the 143rd Inter-Parliamentary Union Conference (IPU), which is currently being held in the Spanish capital.
The banquet was attended by Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council Speaker Hasan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, and the Kuwaiti parliamentary delegation, which includes (Member of Parliament) MP Hamad Al-Matar, MP Salman Al-Hulaila Al-Azmi, MP Osama Al-Manawer and the Secretary-General of the National Assembly Adel Al-Loughani, in addition to ambassadors of GCC countries in Spain.
Al-Ghanim and his accompanying delegation arrived in Madrid last Wednesday to participate in IPU meetings, which will be held from November 26-30. (end)
