KUWAIT, Nov 26 (KUNA) --

1962 -- Kuwaiti Minister of Guidance and News Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah tasks Bader Al-Bader with heading the Kuwait office in Dubai, charged with constructing schools, clinics and mosques in the seven emirates.
1964 -- Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah issues a legislation restricting the import of goods and materials to Kuwaiti individuals and companies.
1970 -- Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah issues a law for regulating corporate stocks.
1987 -- Kuwaiti Army Chief of Staff Sheikh Mubarak Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah passes away at the age of 53.
2005 -- Popular local singer Issa Khourshid, better known as "Ghareed Al-Shatea", passes away at the age of 61.
2007 -- The Kuwaiti political daily Al-Shahed moves from weekly to daily publishing.
2012 -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) inks a USD-10-million loan agreement with Maruitania for financing a road project in this Arab country.
2012 -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signs a civil defense supply contract with Lebanon.
2013 -- National Assembly approves discussing five grillings and postponing another. Also, the Assembly renews confidence in Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Health Minister Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.
2015 -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) inks a loan agreement worth KD 3.5 million with South Sudan.
2017 -- Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) wins the GOLD certificate for existing operating buildings to be the first certified Green Building in Kuwait under Gulf Organization for Research & Development (GORD) in Qatar.
2017 -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) concludes a MoU with Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) for using a loan worth one million US dollars in relief efforts for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.
2019 -- Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah announces the first-ever successful cardiac transplant surgery in Kuwait.
