Kuwait logs 26 more coronavirus cases, no deaths

KUWAIT, Nov 25 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Health said Thursday that 26 people tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) in the last 24 hours, taking Kuwait's caseload to 413,224.
No deaths of the viral illness were reported, so the death toll remained unchanged at 2,465, the Ministry's Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA. The recoveries rose by 24 to 410,520, he said, noting that the overall recoveries represent 99.35 percent of the infections.
The ICUs are completely free of patients and the number those who still receive regular treatment stands at 239, including 11 at hospital wards.
A total of 16,744 more swab tests have been conducted in the past day, raising the overall tests to 5,249,073, Dr. Al-Sanad added. (end) mrf.tb.gb
