BERLIN, Oct 25 (KUNA) -- German Foreign Ministry announced on Monday the closing of its Embassy in the Sudanese Capital, Khartoum, due to recent "coup".
"Our embassy can function partially, therefore it will remain closed for visitors," said the Ministry in a press release.
"German citizens on Sudanese grounds are just a few thousands," it added.
German Deputy Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Andrea Sasse said that the situation in Sudan was "foggy" and the Ministry is in touch with its embassy in Khartoum to observe the situation. (end)
