BEIJING, Oct 21 (KUNA) -- The Chinese government announced on Thursday that three people were killed and more than 30 others injured when in a gas explosion at a BBQ restaurant in northeastern Shenyang City in Liaoning Province.
The local authorities in Liaoning Province added in a statement that after the explosion the firefighters, rescuers, and ambulances in Shenyang city rushed to the scene to transport all the wounded to nearby hospitals to receive the necessary medical treatment.
In addition, Chinese authorities have opened an investigation to determine the causes of the explosion. (end)
