KUWAIT, Oct 20 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Health said Kuwait's coronavirus caseload rose by 21 to 412,424 over the past 24 hours while the death toll from the viral disease remained unchanged at 2,458.
Another 42 patients were cured, raising the overall recoveries to 409,449, the ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in his daily statement on Wednesday.
The number of Covid-19 patients who receive treatment at hospital wards dropped to at 13, including six ICU occupants.
The overall number of patients who still receive medical treatment, including those being treated at home, stands at 517, Dr. Al-Sanad revealed.
Some 17,539 swab tests were conducted over the last day, which took the total to 4,636,065, he added. (end)
