ANKARA, Oct 19 (KUNA) -- A 6.1 on the Richter scale hit Karpathos Island, Greece, Geodynamics Institute of the National Observatory of Athens said Tuesday.
The earthquake occurred 127 km southeast of Karpathos Island and was felt by residents of Turkey, Egypt, Palestine and Lebanon.
However, there is no report of injuries or damages yet, Athens News Agency stated in a press release. (end)
