CBK issues KD 240 mln Tawarruq, bonds

KUWAIT, Oct 18 (KUNA) -- The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced on Monday the issuance of Tawarruq and bonds worth KD 240 million (about USD 792 million).
The issue's maturity period is six months, with a return rate of 1.250 percent, the CBK said in a statement to KUNA.
On Oct 11, the CBK issued bonds and Tawarruq warth also KD 240 million (about USD 792 million), with a return rate of 1.125 percent for a three-month maturity. (end) fnk.nhq
