KUWAIT, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's daily coronavirus cases rose by 35 to 412,332 as deaths increased by one to 2,457, the health ministry said on Sunday.
Another 39 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 409,308, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.
The number of people hospitalised with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 16, with six of them at intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 567 are receiving regular treatment.
Some 21,020 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 4,582,700, mentioned the official. (end)
