Qatar condemns attack on Saudi Arabia's Abha Airport

DOHA, Oct 7 (KUNA) - Qatar has voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attempt to attack Saudi Arabia's Abha Airport, said Qatari Foreign Ministry Thursday.
In a statement, the ministry stated that targeting civilian installations and vital facilities is "an act of sabotage that violates all international norms and laws." The statement also reaffirmed Qatar's firm position in rejecting violence, criminal and sabotage acts, regardless of motive and reason.
Yesterday, the Arab coalition to support the legitimate government in Yemen announced that its air defense forces have shot down a Houthi-fired explosives-laden drone that targeted the Abha International Airport, south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (end) nnd.aa
