KUWAIT, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's daily coronavirus cases rose by 48 to 411,406 as deaths increased by one to 2,444, the health ministry said on Friday.
Another 59 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 408,283, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 43, with 12 of them in intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 679 are receiving regular treatment.
Some 19,515 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 4,143,121, mentioned the official. (end)
