ADEN, Sept 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Society for Relief on Thursday inaugurated an oxygen cylinder factory in Al-Mansoura area in Yemen's Aden with a capacity of 300 cylinders per day to enhance health bodies' potential to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19).
In a speech during the ceremony, Bader Mo'wen, head of Aden municipal council said the facility funded by the society is a key project for citizens to help face the third wave of the pandemic.
He added that providing oxygen cylinders was one of the major challenges during the appearance of the pandemic in Aden and other governorates over the past period.
Mo'wen affirmed readiness of Aden's authorities to provide all facilitations to international organizations and societies to contribute to opening projects to serve citizens.
Meanwhile, deputy head of KSR in Yemen Adel Bashen said that the factory is one of the most sustainable projects funded by the society. (end)
