RAMALLAH, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Prisoners Club (PPC) said Sunday that tens of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation jails have been suffering from suppression and torturing since six Palestinian prisoners escaped from an Israeli jail.
The suffering prisoners include the ones who were transferred from Gilboa Prison, and need urgent mediacl and legal intervension, as well as the prisoners who were isolated and sent to other jail cells, mostly belonging to Islamic Jihad movement, the PPC said in a statement.
Some prisoners are still being interrogated by Israeli forces, it said, expressing concern over their fate.
The Israeli forces have re-arrested the six Palestinian prisoners who had escaped from Israeli jails back on Septemebr 6th. (end)
