Kuwait put on display names of health care martyrs at Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital - gov't

KUWAIT, Sept 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait government decided Thursday to put on display names of martyrs and victims of coronavirus at Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital in recognition of their role during the pandemic and to stand as a reminder of their sacrifices for future generations.
The government, in an extraordinary meeting at the new Farwaniya Hospital building chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, said the health care workers made huge sacrifices "in order to maintain the health system in the State of Kuwait as well as wellbeing of citizens and expatriates," an official statement said.
The government also assigned Mnister of Health and Miniter of Information and Culture to prepare a documentary about the health care workers.
This is in line with instructions of His Highness the Prime Minister to recognize the health care workers, technical and administrative staff for their role during the pandemic. (end) bs
