Arab League welcomes formation of new Lebanese Gov't

CAIRO, Sept 10 (KUNA) -- The Arab League welcomed Friday the formation of the new Lebanese government.
In a statement, the Arab League Secretary-General Ahmad Abul Gheit hoped that the new government takes serious steps to achieve the Lebanese people's aspirations.
Furthermore, Abul Gheit affirmed that the Arab League continues to support Lebanon to get out of the current difficult situation.
Earlier today, the Lebanese premier Secretary General Mahmoud Maki announced the formation of the new government, ending a 13-month vacancy as the country grapples with one of the worst crises in its history. (end) mfm.aa
