Baghdad Conf. for Cooperation, Partnership to be held on Sat.

BAGHDAD, Aug 27 (KUNA) -- Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership scheduled, Saturday, will focus on creating economic integration among participating countries.
Spokesman of Iraq's foreign ministry Nezar Al-Khairallah said in a press conference on Friday that Iraqi government had completed security preparations, protocol measures and health preparations to prevent Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Meanwhile, Iraqi government spokesman and Minister of Culture Hassan Nazim said that Kuwait's presence in the congress would be outstanding and important.
He added that Iraq's Minister of Planning, Dr. Khaled Battal Al-Najm carried a written message from Iraq's Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which included an invitation to attend the Iraqi Neighboring Countries Conference.
He pointed out that official invites went also to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Jordanian King Abdullah II, Qatar's Amir Tamim Al-Thani, Iranian Presidnet Ibrahim Raesi, Turkish President Rajeb Tayyib Erdogan, Egyptian President Abdulfatah Al-Sisi, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Zayed and French President Emanual Macron.
According to a presidency statement, President Barham Salih, that the conference is an opportunity to boost bilateral cooperation and to resolve political crises. The conference agenda will also tackle creating economic and social integration among countries, it added Iraq's aim of the conference to succeed in embodying its strategic vision and creating economic integration that will then lead to resolving the political crises in the region.
