KUWAIT, Aug 18 (KUNA) -- The Municipal Council agreed on Wednesday during their extraordinary session to invest and develop four locations at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's causeway.
Kuwait Municipality Director General Ahmad Al-Manfouhi displayed during the session the planned project that will take place on four locations that will allow for several commercial buildings.
He affirmed that His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah was very interested in finding a different source of income to strengthen the government's budget.
On her part, Kuwait Minister of Public Works, and Acting Minister of Municipality Affairs Dr. Rana Al-Fares expressed her appreciation to the council for their efforts in backing the project.
Al-Fares, who is also the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, valued the cooperation during the extraordinary session that agreed on developing those locations. (end)
