MOSCOW, Aug 8 (KUNA) -- Russia announced, Sunday, 22,866 new coronavirus cases and 787 deaths in the past 24 hours.
The total number of cases rose to 6,447,750 and deaths to 164,881, Russian health authorities said in a statement.
The statement added that 15,669 people recovered in past 24 hours, raising the number of recoveries to 5,755,507. (end)
