Lebanon FM: Israeli attacks are a "flagrant violation" of int'l law

BEIRUT, Aug 6 (KUNA) -- Lebanon's Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli attacks that targeted Lebanese's cities to say, "This shapes a flagrant violation on Lebanon's sovereignty and UN declaration, and the Security Council's resolutions especially Res. 1701." The Ministry's statement on Friday said its Minister and government members directed a cable to their permeant delegation in the UN presenting their demurring case with strong words, disputing the recent Israeli attacks.
On their part, the Lebanese Military also revealed that two Israeli vessels entered our waters nearing Ras Al-Naqoura by around 370 meters. The UN's temporarily stationed Peacekeepers UNIFIL (UN Interim Force in Lebanon) are also following up on these violations. Hezbollah bear responsibility for the reports of rockets landing in Chebaa town farmlands (currently under Israeli rule) south of Lebanon without any casualties, as reported by the Israeli Military.
