BEIRUT, Aug 5 (KUNA) -- Israeli warplanes carried out raids on the Litani River southern Lebanon late Wednesday, said the National Media Agency said Thursday.
Israeli Air Force carried out another "two mock raids" in the area that were heard all over the south and were felt by the residents, the agency added.
Lebanese Media quoted the Spokesman of the Israeli army Avijaa Adraei as saying "Israeli raids were launched on areas from which rockets were fired from Lebanon toward Israeli territories, it also destroyed infrastructure used for terrorist targets."
On Wednesday, Lebanese army said in a statement that Israeli artillery shelled a number of southern Lebanese areas after rockets were fired toward the occupied Palestinian territories. (end)
