UK-KUWAIT Kuwait Amir's representative praises Saudi-Kuwaiti ties in all fields

LONDON, July 28 (KUNA) -- The representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister of Education Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf, Wednesday, praised the brotherly relations shared between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in all fields.

This statement during a meeting with Saudi Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, on the sidelines of the Global Education Summit: Financing GPE 2021-2025, which will be held in London tomorrow for three days.
Speaking to KUNA and Kuwait State TV, Minister Al-Mudhaf affirmed the interest of Kuwait and Saudi bolstering educational ties on all possible domains.
The meeting dealt with the education system in both countries as well as the GCC and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education, he added.
Minister Al-Mudhaf agreed to activate and develop these discussions through the Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council, as well as through the agreements signed last June.
On his part, the Saudi Minister expressed joy in meeting Minister Al-Mudhaf, as it was an opportunity to exchange visions for the development of education and to enhance cooperation at all levels of education.
Minister Al-Sheikh is participating in the conference on behalf of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, it added.
In another meeting, Minister Al-Mudhaf discussed with the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Global Partnership for Education and former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard on ways of cooperation between Kuwait and the international partnership, due to Kuwait's role in humanitarian initiatives around the world, especially in the field of education, statement noted.
On her part, Gillard said to KUNA that her talks with the representative of His Highness the Amir reflect on the leadership in humanitarian initiatives and human development projects around the world.
Gillard expressed her aspiration to work with Kuwait to expand the horizon of partnership in the field of education via joint efforts, as well as praising the Kuwaiti assistance in various humanitarian initiatives in Africa and other countries of the world.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Minister Al-Mudhaf deliver a speech at the Conference, representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. (end) kd.mrn.hs
