KUWAIT, July 28 (KUNA) -- Three Kuwaiti athletes will participate in three events at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on Thursday.
Kuwaiti swimmer Abbas Qali will compete in 100m Butterfly race Thursday at 1:00 pm local time as part of his participation on Tokyo Olympics 2020, in the Olympic Complex in Tokyo.
Shooters Abdulrahman AlFaihan and Talal Al-Rashidi with take part in the final rounds of the Trapshooting competition, Member of the Board of Directors at Kuwait Olympics Committee participating in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 Fatima Hayat confirmed.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti athletes Yaqoub Al-Yoha and Modhawi Al-Shammeri continued their practice and trainings on the Olympic Stadium, in preparation for their competition on July 30th, she indicated.
Hayat stressed the keenness of the Committee to provide all means of comfort to the players to help them achieve the desired goals. After they arrived to the Japanese Capital Tokyo, Head of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and members of the Board of Directors visited the players Yaqoub Al-Yoha and Madhawi Al-Shammari during their training session.
