Countries around the world update daily COVID-19 tallies

KUWAIT, July 27 (KUNA) -- Governments around the world announced their daily coronavirus updates on Tuesday as they continue to battle the impacts of the deadly pandemic.
In France, health officials reported 28 fatalities and 26,871 infections in the past 24 hours.
In a statement, the French health ministry said total infections jumped to 6,026,115 cases, while the death toll reached 111,695 people.
In Algeria, health officials reported 25 new COVID-19 deaths, and 1,544 infections in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health said that the total virus-induced deaths rose to 4,112, and the infections to 165,204, while 728 patients were recovered today raising the total recoveries to 112.050 patients.
Jordan reported eight new fatalities, and 1,213 infections in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health said that the death toll climbed to 9,979, and the caseload to 767,327 cases, while total recoveries reached 748,312 patients since the virus outbreak. Morocco recorded 27 virus-induced deaths, and 6,971 new infections over the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health said that the total fatalities rose to 9,638, and the infections to 588,448 cases, while the total recoveries have reached 549,116 after 2,690 patients were cured today.
Spain reported 55 new COVID-19 deaths, and 26,391 infections in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health stated that the death toll increased to 81,323 and the caseload to 368,453 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Netherlands reported three new fatalities and 4,042 coronavirus cases today.
The Ministry of Health stated that the total fatalities increased to 17,809, and the infections to 1,851, 329 cases since the pandemic started.
The UK listed 131 virus-induced deaths, and 23,511 infections in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health stated that the death toll increased to 129,303 people and the caseload to under 5,750,000 cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
Luxembourg reported 86 new coronavirus infections, raising the total number to 73,637.
No new Covid-19 death was reported, keeping the total fatalities at 822.
Italy listed 24 new virus-induced deaths, and 4,522 infections over the past 24 hours.
