VIENNA, June 23 (KUNA) -- The OPEC basket of crudes went up 68 cents during trading sessions to close at USD 73.13 per barrel (pb) on Tuesday, compared with USD 72.45 on last Monday, said the organization Wednesday.
The annual price of the OPEC basket in 2020 was at USD 41.47 pb.
The current oil prices are relatively high, compared to the prices two years ago, due to the advanced vaccinations campaigns against the Corona virus.
OPEC+ members assured, at the conclusion of meeting earlier this month, commitment to a stable market that serves the interests of producers and consumers alike. (end)
