ADEN, June 20 (KUNA) -- Corner stone of a school construction of which was funded by Kuwait Red Crescent Society was laid on Sunday in the Yemeni town of Seiyun, the Governorate of Hadhramaut.
Issam Al-Kathiri, the undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governor, lauded in a statement during the ceremony Kuwait for its humanitarian aid for the Yemeni people and praised the KRCS for soothing people's hardships.
The enterprise will secure schooling for 300 students.
Meanwhile, the ICR Director General Abdulrahman Al-Aoun said many more of such projects would be launched in the coming days.
Salem Bawazir, the director of the "humanitarian response association -- in Hadhramaut" expressed deep gratitude to the KRCS for its qualitative relief works in the country. (end) sns.rk
