Arab Council condemns Houthi Militia terrorist attacks on Saudi cities

TUNIS, June 20 (KUNA) -- The General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council expressed Sunday strong condemnation of Houthi militia terrorist attacks on Saudi cities of Khamis Mushait and Najran with armed drones, destroyed by Saudi Arabia's air defenses.
In a press statement, the General Secretariat said that these cowardly terrorist acts, through which the militia is trying to target civilians, constitute a clear violation of international law.
These actions are a prominent evidence of militia's continuous refusal to comply with calls for peace and efforts made to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis, it said.
It renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its absolute support for all the measures it takes to face terrorist attacks, defend its security and protect its lands.
The Secretariat praised the heroic roles played by the Saudi Air Force and the Coalition Forces to Support Legitimacy in Yemen in confronting these threats that target the Kingdom's territory and designed to destabilize security and stability in the region. (end) nms.sam
