JEDDAH, May 11 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Tuesday tersely condemned the continuing Israeli attacks on Gaza where 25 people have been killed and scores others have been wounded.
This new crime is an addition to the limitless record of the occupation breaches of the international law, the OIC said during a virtual emergency meeting of the member states permanent delegates to discuss the offensives in the Palestinian territories.
The OIC Secretary General Yousef Al-Othaimeen praised in his statement during the meeting -- addressed on his behalf by the Ambassador Samir Bakr Al-Amin, the assistant secretary general for the affairs of Palestine and Jerusalem -- steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their resistance of the Israeli attacks on the sacred sites.
He has affirmed status of Jerusalem as an inseparable part of the occupied Palestinian territories, also re-affirming the OIC commitment to defend rights of the Palestinian people. (end)
