PARIS, April 22 (KUNA) -- France on Thursday recorded 283 new COVID-19 fatalities, and 34,318 infections in the past 24 hours.
A statement by the Ministry said that the total mortalities climbed to 102,164, and the caseload to 5,408,606, while 5,981 patients are in the intensive care units.
President Emmanuel Macron recently announced more strict measures to be imposed nationwide that would help to stop the virus spread. (end)
