RABAT, April 22 (KUNA) -- Morocco's Health Ministry on Thursday said that seven patients succumbed to the coronavirus and 600 people were infected with the virus over the past 24 hours.
Death toll to surged 8,976 and the total infected cases to 507,938, the minister added in a press statement.
The ministry noted that 520 people have recovered at the same time, raising the total recoveries to 493,873.
Up to 5,089 cases are still receiving treatment at hospitals, 381 of whom are at intensive care units, it stated. (end)
