Palestine reports 1,652 COVID-19 cases, 19 deaths

RAMALLAH, April 22 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Health Ministry said, Thursday, that 19 individuals succumbed to the coronavirus (COVID-19), while 1,652 infections were reported in the last 24 hours.
A statement by the Minister of Health Dr. Mai Al-Kaila revealed that those recovering from the viral infection since yesterday reached 2,360.
There are 153 in ICU with 37 patients on ventilators, indicated the minister.
Some 462 patients are receiving regular treatment for COVID-19 in the West Bank's hospitals. (end) nq.gta
