TUNIS, April 21 (KUNA) -- Tunisian health ministry on Wednesday declared recording 75 new deaths and 2,603 additional infection cases with COVID-19 past hours.
The ministry said the total number of deaths reached 9,993 and the caseload swelled to 291,833 since eruption of the pandemic in the country in early March.
It added that the tally of recoveries reached 242,238.
Currently, there are 2,568 patients receiving care at hospitals -- including 493 at intensive care units. (end)
