S. Korea reports 532 new coronavirus cases, total now at 114,646

TOKYO, April 19 (KUNA) -- South Korea reported 532 new coronavirus cases on Monday, bringing the country's total caseload to 114,646, according to Yonhap News Agency.
The country added four more deaths, raising the death toll to 1,801, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
Of the newly transmitted cases, Seoul reported 136 and Gyeonggi Province that surrounds the capital city saw 142 patients.
The greater Seoul area is currently under the Level Two distancing scheme, the third highest in the five-phase system. The rest of the country is under Level 1.5, except for some municipalities that have adopted Level Two measures. Private gatherings of five or more people are banned nationwide.
From Monday, operations of entertainment establishments are banned in the greater Seoul area and the southeastern port city of Busan. (end) mk.bs
