Coalition intercepts Houthi ballistic missile, four drones

JEDDAH, April 11 (KUNA) -- The Saudi-led coalition to support the legitimate Yemeni government said on Sunday evening that it had intercepted and shot down a ballistic missile and four explosives-laden drones fired by Houthi militia towards civilian targets in southern Saudi cities.
In a statement aired by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the coalition noted that the repeated attempts by the Houthis to fire booby-trapped drones and ballistic missiles towards civilian targets blatantly violate international humanitarian law, and threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians. The coalition vowed that it would take all required actions to foil Houthi attacks and destroy their military capabilities in line with the international law. (end) nsa.ibi
