GENEVA, March 8 (KUNA) -The Swiss health authorities affirmed Monday that 2,744 people tested positive with the coronavirus, while 16 patients died due to the virus during the weekend.
The Ministry of State for Health Affairs said in a statement, that the total infections surpassed 565,000, while deaths reached 9,347.
Up to 4.4 million tests were conducted on people who showed symptoms of the disease since the end of last February, it added. (end)
