NEW DELHI, March 4 (KUNA) -- Indian health authorities said on Thursday that 89 people succumbed to COVID-19 while 17,407 new cases were registered from different parts of the country in a span of 24 hours.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that fatalities due to COVID-19 rose to 157,435 as total number of positive cases mounted to 11,156,923.
According to the ministry 10,826,075 people recuperated from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states. (end)
