UK reports 315 COVID-19 deaths

LONDON, March 3 (KUNA) -- The United Kingdom on Wednesday reported 315 new COVID-19 deaths, raising the victim toll up to 123,783.
In a press statement, the UK Department of Health and Social Care stated that 6,385 new infections were registered today, to raise the total number up to 4,194,785 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Moreover, the department noted that over 895,000 people took two shots of the vaccine, where 20,703,615 took the first shot only. (end) mrn.mys
