Israeli occupation forces capture eight Palestinians in West Bank - PPS

RAMALLAH, March 3 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians in several West Bank Governorates, the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) said Wednesday.
PPS added in a press release Wednesday that among the detainees is an ex-prisoner, Bassam Al-Saadi from Jenin Governorate has faced over the past years deportation and persecution by the occupation authorities.
Israeli occupation forces have intensified arrests in the West Bank since the announcement of the date for the Palestinian general elections, which has impacted members and leaders of the Palestinian factions and popular resistance activists. (end) nq.lr
