AMMAN, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- Jordan on Sunday announced 26 deaths from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 4,594 more infections in the past 24 hours.
The figures increased the death toll to 4,701 and overall infections to more than 391,000, said a joint statement by the Jordanian government and the Ministry of Health.
As many as 2,312 people recovered from the disease in the same period, bringing the total recoveries to 348,600,it added.
The total medical swabs conducted since the start of the virus pandemic hit rose to 4.6 million. (end)
