CAIRO, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- The Arab Parliament called on Arab and Muslim countries to support Saudi Arabia in the face of foreign attempts against its sovereignty and meddling in the Kingdom's internal affairs.
Saudi Arabia plays a key role in protecting security and stability in Arab states, parliament's Speaker Adel Al-Assoomi said in a statement on Sunday.
A US intelligence report on the death of Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi is a "false accusation and claims that have no evidence and a violation of the kingdom's internal affairs," he asserted.
The report, he added, was a "blatant and unacceptable interference in (Saudi Arabia's) independent judicial authorities." (end)
