NEW DELHI, Feb 27 (KUNA) -- Indian health authorities said on Saturday that 113 people died due to COVID-19 as 16,488 positive cases were reported from across the country in the last 24 hours.
The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that deaths due to COVID-19 rose to 156,938 while the total number of positive cases surged to 11,079,979.
The Indian health ministry said 10,763,451 people recovered from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states. (end)
