Saudi, US FMs discuss bilateral ties, cooperation

WASHINGTON, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke on Thursday with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud during which they discussed bilateral ties and joint cooperation in various domains.
In a statement, State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said that Blinken also reiterated "his commitment to US-Saudi cooperation on ending the war in Yemen, regional security coordination, counterterrorism, and economic development".
Meanwhile, Price said during a State Department briefing that "we, of course, have been very clear that we condemn the attacks on Saudi territory that have been perpetrated from Yemen by Houthi terrorists".
"We will continue to stand with our Saudi partners as they defend themselves from these outrageous attacks," he affirmed. (end) si.hm
