CAIRO, Feb 22 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Minister of Health and Population announced 608 new Coronavirus (Covid-19) infections, while 55 people lost their lives due to the virus during the last 24 hours.
A total of 543 patients recovered and departed the hospitals after receiving the required medical care, to raise the total recovered cases to 137,837, the official spokesman of the Ministry Dr. Khaled Mujahed said in a statement late Sunday.
The total infected cases of Covid-19 in Egypt reached 178,151, and the total deaths 10,353. (end)
