Egypt confirms 48 fatalities along with 632 Covid-19 infections

CAIRO, Jan 27 (KUNA) -- The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded on Tuesday 48 fatalities and 632 novel coronavirus (Covid-19) infections in the past 24 hours.
The figures took the country's tally to 163,761 infections and 9,115 deaths, the ministry's spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahed noted in a press release.
The spokesman added 530 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 127,963 people. (end) ms.mb
