New Delhi, Jan 27 (KUNA) -- Indian government sources announced on Wednesday that 137 people succumbed to COVID-19 while 12,689 new positive cases were registered from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours.
The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that deaths due to COVID-19 rose to 153,724 while the total number of positive cases mounted to 10,689,527.
The Indian health ministry stated that 10,359,305 people recovered from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states. (end)
