China condemns attack on Saudi Arabia

KUWAIT, Jan 26 (KUNA) -- China on Tuesday condemned the attack on Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh last Saturday, affirming its support to back its security.
"China condemns the attack targeting Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh, and supports Saudi Arabia's efforts to safeguard its security and stability," Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said in a press statement.
"We stand against all attacks against civilians and civil facilities and call on relevant sides to refrain from taking actions that will escalate regional tensions," he added. (end) mab.bb
